My New Year Countdown has always been pretty safe but this year, i decided to turn the tables around because i wanted to experience the opposite.
Honestly, it's difficult to say if i wouldn't mind going through the motions once more.
I didn't really enjoy everything that i witnessed especially when practically everyone i knew got wasted.
Before i know it, there was i; the only conscious one amongst the drunkards and semi-drunkard individuals.
The worst was the fact that i had to tolerate their so-called entertainment pretending it was hilarious when all that i saw was a group of individuals intoxicated by alcohol and acting loony.
Maybe i'm the kind who doesn't know how to have fun or perhaps my definition of fun isn't of the same frequency as what other people might consider as merriment.
I'm aware that we're from two different worlds and i can't possibly appreciate the things that you like and likewise, you can't do so for the things i enjoy as well.
I guess it's best that we remain true to ourselves and stop acting like we can blend in when right from the start, we know that the notion is absurd.
I'll leave you with your world and u'll leave me in mine.
Because at the end of the day, we know that we can always meet halfway.

BBQ session with the college buddies.
All the laughter, team work and gorging of barbecued food was definitely well worth the journey of traveling from Tampines to West Coast Park.
We had a session of Taboo afterwards where i witnessed the most random and spastic moments of those that were once my classmates.
Time passed really quickly when u're having fun and we had to head our separate routes but we already set aside another date to have a session of gaming, movies & dinner.
I can't wait!
